Education is a process of training the young boys and girls in various fields. This sort of training is of importance for the smooth and efficient functioning of the society. Education will be complete only with unity and discipline which is the very foundation of National Cadet Corps i.e NCC. The significance of the National Cadet Corps has been rightly and appreciably considered and given its proper place in our college. The service of NCC finds its expression in contingent for the holistic purpose of unity and discipline among students. This finally leads to the national integration.
RECRUITMENT FOR THE YEAR 2016-2017:
For the academic year 2016-2017, 100 cadets were recruited.
CAMPS ATTENDED FOR THE YEAR 2016-2017:
> 65 Cadets attended Combined Annual Training camps on different dates at different places.
> 60 Cadets Participated in International Yoga Day celebrations held at parade ground, Guntur.
> 60 Cadets Participated in Krishna Pushkaralu held at Atchampet.
> 50 Cadets Participated in Swatch Bharat Programme, held at Guntur.
> 02 Cadets attended LIDC camp held at Secunderabad.
> 02 Cadets attended the Army Attachment Camp held at Secunderabad.
> One Cadet attended the National Integration Camp training held at Secunderabad.
> 02 Cadets attended the Pre-Republic Day camp held at Secunderabad.
> One Cadet attended the All India firing Camp held at Nizamabad.
> One Cadet attended the ALL India firing Camp held at Adilabad.
> 10 Cadets attended NIC held at Acharya Nagarjuna University.
> One Cadet attended Thala Sainik Camp held at New-Delhi.
> 01 Cadet was selected for the Republic Day celebration held at New-Delhi.
> 50 Cadets participated in Voters day rally. ACHIVEMENTS OF THE BATALION:
> Five cadets who represented the 25(A) Bn at republic day celebration last year were adjudicated as the best cadets.
> J.U.O A Gopi was awarded the best Cadet in Guntur Group Level consisting of three districts.
> TJPS college battalion was awarded overall championship in Guntur Group level.
> Mastan was awarded Goldmedal in national firing competition held at NewDelhi.
RECRUITMENT FOR THE YEAR 2015-2016:
> For the academic year 2015-2016, 100 Boy cadets are recruited.
CAMPS ATTENDED DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015-2016:
> 40 Cadets attended Combined Annual Training Camps at different Places on different dates.
> 60 Cadets participated at Guntur parade ground on the eve of International Yoga Day.
> 60 Cadets participated on the eve of Andhra Pradesh Capital city foundation stone.
> 2 cadets attended National Integration Camp held at Mehar, Madhya Pradesh.
> 6 cadets attended Inter Group Competitions camp held at Secunderabad.
> 60 cadets participated at parade ground on the eve of teachers day celebration organized by AP State government.
> 6 cadets attended Inter Group Competition selection Republic Day Camp at Secunderabad.
> 60 cadets participated in Swatch Bharat Programme held at Guntur Parade ground on 2nd October 2015.
> 5 cadets attended Local Republic Day camp held at Amaravathi.
> It is pride and honor to T.J.P.S College, NCC Battalion as it is the only Battalion in Guntur group to send a cadet for the Republic Day parade at New Delhi for the last eight consecutive years. At in present one Cadet A. Gopi of 1st B.Com, participated in 2016 Republic Day Celebrations, in New Delhi.
> Lt P.Kumar Raja attended three day course programme on National Disaster Management organized by NDRF held at ANU Guntur.
> 20 Cadets and Company commander participated in National Voters Day rally.
ACHIEVEMENTS DURING ACADEMIC YEAR 2015-2016:
> 2 cadets who represented the 25(A) Bn. at republic day celebration last year were adjudicated as the best cadets.
> J.U.O. A. Gopi was awarded as the best Cadet Camp Senior at Annual Training Camp held at Amaravathi.
> Md. Gouse secure Gold Medal in 5K run conducted by Guntur group NCC battalion.
> Lt. P.Kumar Raja, has been awarded as the best NCC officer of T.J.P.S. College for the current academic year by the company commander of 25(A) BN.
